A conversation about creative work

Give a good idea a reason to happen.

Have an idea for a launch, gathering or other initiative? Begin with a conversation about what it is for, who it serves and the kind of support it could need.

Make the purpose clear.

You may want to introduce something new, bring people together or express a business idea in a more tangible way. A consultation gives us a place to examine the purpose, audience and practical context, and to discuss whether there is a useful role for THE HUMAN AFFAIR.

Connect the idea to the people involved.

A clear conversation about the idea can begin with:

The reason

Why does this project matter now? What do you want it to make possible for your business and the people you want to reach?

The experience

Who is it for, and how might they take part? What should they understand or take away from the experience?

The next decision

What do you already know, and what still needs to be worked out? Consider the timing, resources and people the next stage would require.

Agree the role before moving forward.

Any support beyond the consultation is considered individually. The role, scope, outputs and responsibilities need to be agreed before work begins. Production, suppliers, venues and other delivery arrangements would require their own clear scope.

What are you imagining?

A few lines about the idea, its audience and why it matters are enough to start.
